My Breitling 806 Navitimer

I am inordinately fond of this Breitling Navitimer dating from the early 1960s I believe. I have not seen many gold-filled cases for these, also it bears the inscription "Warwick Banks" on the caseback. Mr Banks is an ex- FII racing driver who is still very much with us. He did not respond to my email inquiring into the circumstances surrounding the inscription (he probably knows me!).
I do know that he is a watch aficionado, so maybe just a personal possession. It would be nice should it turn out to be a commemoration of his winning something or other.

I've been drawn to the 806 Navi myself lately.....

Been hunting for one myself! They are still relatively affordable and underrated IMO.
