That's kind of crazy seeing all the Speedmaster books stacked like that. There can't be many single watch models in the world that have that level of literature dedicated to them. I got my first edition for about £170 and then barely a week later found the red second edition for £80. They're great books but I don't think I'd buy a third seeing as I only own a single modern Speedmaster and if you're not chasing the micro details all these updated references don't really matter that much as the bulk of the content is the same.
@Owlsu Not more crazy than a collection of stacked Speedmaster chronographs Colleague of mine will sell his 1st & 2nd editions to buy the updated 2019 edition... a great tribute book for 50 years Apollo 11
WatchPrint presented the book with a Moonwatch lecture by G.R.A.M. during weekend 15-17 November... Shipment of the pre-orders started monday 18th November .
Hooter's really has lowered their standards, that's got to be one of the ugliest Hooters girl I've ever seen? lol
Anyone have any idea what postal service they’d use to ship to the States? Looks like if you preordered, your shipping ref is viewable on the watchprint site.
I ordered an Audemars Piguet book from them last year, and I got it in about 3 days in the US. I can't remember how it came, only that it was lightning quick in perfect condition.
Just checked the site again - even has the date it was shipped. Today!! Looking forward to early next week now!!
I pre-ordered back in late July but when I check the watch print site it says shipped from 19 December. Weird that it says that when people have started receiving the book isn’t it???
I created an account, ordered in August. Site only says released Dec 19 (as above). No shipping date or other info.
Gentlemen’s wager they’re working through the preorders and that shipped status gets added when they process.
Definitely a must have book. I just had a look to Chronomaster only and Flightmaster only, but I don't find the same precision. What do you guys think?
As always, I have an extra copie of the Moonwatch Only book which can be browsed by members of the audience enjoying my FREE Spacefarers's wristwatches lecture/presentation Edit: photo added (yes during the lecture one can try on a spacesuit glove) .
