I posted about this watch in the "For the Hi-Fi enthusiasts among us..." thread but thought the topic would get more attention and maybe some answers here. Sorry for posting the same information in more than one spot.

Anyone know who made these watches for Musical Fidelity?

A lot to like here:
-925 solid silver case
-20th Anniversary Limited Edition 465 of 470
-6 o'clock date with the same color and the dial.
-Pie pan shaped dial with a combination of smooth and textured areas for visual interest.
-Breguet-style numerals and hands
-ETA 2824-2 movement running at approximately 2 seconds a day fast.

Hah -- that's really something.

I still own a few MF products, and I was starting out as a kid starting to record and play music when I first saw their British Fidelity amp -- A1. maybe? It later developed a rep for overheating (and worse) but man did it sound pure and clean compared to the HIWATTS / receivers crap most places carried.

And IIRC but Anthony Michaels (sic) was a very good amateur clarinetist.

I have a cd of him playing a piece By Mozart with a period instrument ensemble.

I've a bit of MF stuff, mainly the X-series [pre-amp, amps, phono stages, -tone and -cans]. Funny, I remember a MF watch but it seemed different to this one.

They have had a few but mostly quartz unlike this one which is mechanical.
