·Thinning the herd so listed for sale is a stainless steel, self-winding, automatic Mulco Escafandra diver’s wristwatch, with screwed case-back.
Beautiful 60-minute graduated bidirectional revolving inner bezel for decompression times, setting by the crown at 2 o’clock. Untouched, clean glossy black dial with centre-seconds and non quick set date with aperture at 3 o’clock under Cyclops plexiglass. The sailfish logo detail of Escafandras was what captivated me originally.
Case measures 36mm without crown with minor hairlines along polished lugs. 19mm lug width and spring bars.
Original hour indices and exquisite paddle hands and second hand lume are intact. They glow and match perfectly under UV light. Service history unknown but watch keeps good time with approx reserve of 48 hours. Inner bezel turns smoothly with 2 o'clock crown. Included in sale are leather strap and aftermarket bracelet.
