Dear OF

Offering this Movado Datron in a really nice condition. The watch is from 70s with the first genuine Automatic Chronograph, El Primero Cal 3019-movement, which later became the movement in Rolex Daytona. The case is strong with some scratches. The case has probably at the time received a slight polishing, but it is not felt on the lugs.

The dial and hands are in good condition and have developed a beautiful patina. The lume on the dial has developed a very nice patina - as well as the lume on the chrono hand. The hour and minute hands are original, but a later replacement. The chrono hand is inclined slightly to the right so that it does not stand 100% at twelve, so it stands between 12 and the first second (see pictures) - small thing for a watchmaker to fix.

The acrylic bezel is all intact and in a very good condition with some scratches. The dial, case, movement, and crystal are all signed by Movado

Movement? Serviced?
Movement runs perfectly, but service history is unknown. I got the watch 6 months ago in a trade with another watch. I had it checked by my local watchmaker, and he told me it didn´t needed service.
