I've owned too many to list really but here are a few favs...

Just sold this one a little while ago...shed a tear but it was just sitting, and I don't run a museum. 1975 HD FXE Custom.

This is my "I'm now too old for this and need to sell it before I kill myself, bike" Looks almost stock but anything but under the hood. Ran on Nitromethane...225hp...205mph verified top speed. 😁

My current cruiser HD Road King. Used to have a supercharger on it but if you read the caption above, it applies here too.

If you made it this far....the last one is my all time favorite. I never should have let this go...no no no no no! Ducati Monster Metallic.....no sweeter sound on earth than a Duc twin through carbon exhaust. Oh man I miss it.

76 Bonneville. I've owned for about 14 years, but I'm finding it hard to start with advancing age. It handles great and is a lot of fun to ride.

That is one sweet FXE. Nothing beats the sound of an old Shovelhead.

I've been looking for a nice FLH myself for ages. I guess one day I will pull the trigger.

Shovelheads forever😀
I may disagree about the Ducati exhaust sounding the best. A shovel on open pipes is music to my ears.

Here's my shovel, long since gone. Without trying to start an argument IMHO open pipes only sound good to the rider and should be restricted to racetracks and other closed course settings. Honestly every time I hear a bike going down the road rattling the windows of houses and restaurants I am amazed how inconsiderate some people are.

I grew up living near a motorcycle sales and service shop. I used to marvel at all the bikes I’d see parked in front of the shop. Francis Barnett’s, Jawas, Whizzers, Triumph, Norton, Indian, Harley, BSA, and the list could go on, if my memory was better. This was long before the influx of Japanese motor cycles. Everything was American, or British. Never owned one! And I’m now beyond the years when that will ever happen. But I might have enjoyed having one.

It is. Just finishing my coffee and I'll be rolling it out of the garage to ride to work.

I don't currently own a bike. Once I get my car paid off around the new year I plan on beginning the search for an old Moto Guzzi ElDorado.
