Most Worn Watch (MWW) - 2024

Another year gone ... some watches came ... others went ... was there any particular watch that stole more wrist time than the others? Any good reasons for that, perhaps?

Its a challenging exercise to try and pin-point (anyone track their wearing-habits in a daily spreadsheet?!) ... I was stumped for a good while ... and then I remembered what a year it has been.

My most worn watch for 2024:

Don't judge ... I still love my watches, there was some fluctuation in the collection, but 2024 was onerous and totally obliterated the horological-libido. I essentially strapped this bad boy on my wrist in November 2023, and forgot about it whilst barely surviving the storm that was 2024, until about August.

In September it fared marvelously in Finland where I used the navigation features as a backup to the compass/map (idea was to do it old-school). Other useful functions for me are the sport-tracking (swimming/running/hiking), the sleep tracking, the alarms/timers (silent with vibrate only ... best ever), and even the flashlight (the red variant is useful to not wake others up when e.g. going to the toilet at 3am in a mountain hut). Battery life is pretty solid too ...

Next year I am certain my MWW will be something that is a real watch 😀

Wishing you all a fantastic 2025 ... what (and why) did you wear the most in 2024?

Speedmaster FOIS as number one and the Titanium Tissot as a close second for cycling, swimming, kayaking and working out.

Tissot was serviced and pressure tested by Archer so I knew it would be good to go.

Speedmaster because it is modern and also ready to handle everything.

(Older pic… was just about to set the Speedy with the use of the very precise Quartz).

Hoping everyone has a good final few days of 2024 and a wonderful 2025.

My consistently most worn watch was this and I foresee it continuing that trend. It’s been my favorite for several years and is essentially my daily.

I didn't keep an exact record but it was one of these two:

Kept me on track during many a busy day this year.

This isn't the best condition Speedy I've ever owned but it's been the most worn and the one I gravitate to most mornings. It's got the quintessential speedy vibe.

I also do not have objective data, but it's probably either my Seamaster, the watch that has been in my physical possession the longest this year, or my Explorer 2, which has felt like the approriate watch for most occassions.

It's definitely the Speedmaster for me. Especially since I have it on a MN strap from Watch Steward. Most comfortable strap out there.

Road trip buddy for straight 6 months.

Really like the bezel on that, it looks like a chocolate mirror glaze!

I’m going to have to plead the fifth on this one or I might have a mutiny to deal with 😑

Everyday (365!), going out, working and as I try not go out much and try to avoid work…….
A few others in the draw that have not seen the light of day, why do I keep looking for more??

Happy New Year everyone.
