Most Valuable Omega Marine Chronometer Either 1511 Or 1516

    Hi fellow members.:thumbsdown:

    To settle an argument which of the above 2 watches circa 1976 is worth more money, also having all papers eg CERTIFICATE OF ARCHIEVES FROM OMEGA BIENNE PLUS INSTRUCTION MANUALS AND LASTLY CERTIFICATE OF TIMEKEEPING FROM THE OBSEVATORY AT BESCANCON IN FRANCE. PLEASE ASUME BOTH WATCHES ARE IN PRISTINE CONDITION.

    How much does it cost to replace a battery in those computer chips programmed to tell time?

    Not sure if the above message was for me but. I only use RENATA OR VARTA and they cost approx. £1.30 each cheaper if you buy 2 then the price drops .

    Ha, I think ulackfocus was being a big cheeky. He's not a fan of quartz-powered watches....

    Honestly, an object is only worth what someone will pay for it. The best way to get your answer would be to research eBay or other watch sales forums and sites to see what price each has fetched in the recent past.
