Has anyone contacted Gardiner Houlgate? I am (a little) surprised as they are usually fairly good watch auctioneers.

Maybe this big triangle was a Texas edition where everything is bigger?

Ironically the dial would seem to be the only possible original part. Then some idiot has put an oversize ‘T’ on it

I contacted Gardiner Houlgate and they have pulled the watch pending the vendor getting an extract from Omega.

The extract will just confirm the movement matched to the reference and the date/country of issue.

I think with the military issued SM300 the extract should state it was delivered to the military.
