At least the parts are still with the watch, how they are stored is a different story... http://www.ebay.com/itm/272189753643?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:ITPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
I kind if think the listing is ok. At least the guy seems honest saying that the watch doesn't run and includes all the parts from the service replacement. Better than quite a lot of the other recent eBay disasters. Ironically, the original bezel and case look to be in pretty good shape, should have just been left alone. Also, nice knowing that history of the watch as his father bought it new and he has the instruction manual and international guarantee. My guess is it will still for between $6k-$7k.
Nice package deal for those that can afford it. We will probably see it come back for sale later as "two watches"
Sorry, if my post sounded too negative. Don't think seller did anything wrong here. I am sure, it will sell well.
$7956 and some change at the hammer. Anybody see it going for that much? Will be interesting to see if we do see it back up in a few months as two different watches now.
Nice dial, nice bezel, nice case, papers included. Only issue is the lack of a movement shot and the fact it's not running, which people rightly or wrongly assume will almost always be fixed by a simple service. I'm not surprised it went for this price in the current market.
