I can't seem to be able to steal/share the pictures from the link.
Possibly my favourite yet. Lava is the other one I like.
Personally I'm not in the financial position to be tempted anyway ☹

The 'craters' on the watch strap look cool (top of this picture) but are only on the inside of the strap. 🥴🤔

£335 for a Swatch seems a bit too much
Yeah, I knew I wasn't a buyer before even looking. I didn't recognise that they'd upped the pricing again.
Combined with the 'one day release' it certainly looks like they're trying to manufacture 'mania' (queues) again.

... ... ...
Prime example of.... ? 😉

Do watch brands really know (care) what their clients want/like ?"

Or $$$ over all else? 🥴🤔

+ apologies to all for four posts. That's just me struggling with technology/reality/common-sense

have to say I think this is the nicest one the've done yet. But... the price and the availability (train ticket to london, fight the queues, fight the flippers) just turns me off. Shame because I think it's a really cool looking thing. But then it's a plastic unserviceable watch and I bought my vintage Enicar with bracelet for less than that️... [shrug]

Yet another plastic watch you can't get unless you live next door to a Swatch store. And there are fewer of those than Omega Boutiques.

And it's only at SELECTED Swatch stores, not all stores will get them. I did a rough check online and only about 50% of the US Swatch stores will have them, for one day only. Just another attempt to keep the Swatch x Omega hype train moving down the tracks.

I'm seeing predictions of doom but I doubt that will happen; We humans are a strange bunch.

Any marketing experts able to comment whether there's a time when a company knows to quit while they are ahead or do you just build in a potential loss to each new campaign and hope for the best.
If the worst, for Swatch, were to happen and these didn't sell out in "one day", what would be the consequences? Would they destroy all unsold stock, possibly lying that they did infact sell out? Or would they potentially loose some face and continue to sell them, possibly discretely, or just honestly confessing that they misjudged the market?
Does anyone believe that flippers are still making money, or is it 'new hopefuls' lining up each time that haven't been stung yet?

Whilst the profit margins must be huge I doubt that the rents that they are paying are insignificant. On the plus side, I doubt advertising budgets are as high as they used to have to be.

This will sell out and be flipped for double or more on line.

Not my cup of tea but that’s my prediction.

Ok. I was finding that hard to believe.
Then:

These are SOLD listings on eBay in Australia. Swatch price here tomorrow is $610.

And they are being released again 9/8?
Oh so different!!!

Popcorn on the moon for the September Harvest (or Corn) Moon. Allegedly.

Personally, I'm looking to raise finances for the Seiko Gene Kranz reissue (silver dial SRPL91) which should come in slightly cheaper. 😎
* decent pizza plus popcorn cheaper, as this moonswatch will now be AU$630

I like it, but I’m not waiting in line for a plastic watch - I bought a 1965 to travel with, but I’ll stick with my vintage Speedies. That Gene Kranz is cool!

Swatch has jumped the shark I'm afraid.

I still don’t get the negativity. I don’t have one, nor do I have an urge to get one, but I see loads of them on peoples wrists.
So what if they bring out loads of editions that are only available for a few days/weeks/months. Works for Happy Meal toys.
