    Hi gang,

I ran across this today on eBay and wondered if the price is justified? We all know that a watch is worth whatever someone will pay for it, and Bullheads are very collectible, and Citizens can bring over $2,000. What are your thoughts on a $14,000 Omega Bullhead?

It's a dandy, imuo,(in my uneducated opinion) but isn't that 2-3x the market? Was it the Queens? I bet half is about right.

Is that a vintage version or the modern rerelease? I've seen NOS parts for them floating around, and this might be assembled from them.

Regardless, it's in phenomenal shape but not worth anywhere near that crazy asking price.

Looks to be a minty original... find one with that nice a case...

Granted I’d not pay that much for one.

WatchCo in Australia used to have NOS cases, dials, and hands a few years ago.

and a batch of movements too.....before they moved to NZ.
Not enough to manufacture a market like the SM300 though.

Good ones have been creeping up to over $10k recently, but 14k is “aspirational” in my opinion.

But hey...... you can always ask, and maybe someone will bite!,,

Ps they look great in photos, but dont suit all wrists - so best try before one buys

Compared to this one it's dirt cheap I'd say. :taunt:

Jokes aside, around 10k seems to be right nowadays for a clean original example.

I know what you mean. I had a very nice old Citizen and it definitely didn’t belong on my bony wrist! Dumped it in a month! Very good point
