modern Zenith El Primero with Grey dial in excellent 38mm case

Hi guys,

if you're looking for a modern watch with an iconic movement and in a medium sized case, then browse through these pictures. This one fits the bill quite well!

This watch is in a very good to excellent condition, with only a handful wearing signs (as far as I noticed there's one on the bottom right lug and another on the end link near 6 o'clock). The movement is keeping great time and everything resets as it should - service history is unknown.
The bracelet is currently sized for my 6.7 inch wrist and I do have one extra link available.

Can I ask you and/or @LouS as I'm a Zenith noob - is this case the same as the 38mm Zenith A386 reissue?

This watch is tempting me, but I'm cognizant of the fact that when I tried the A836 reissue it wore unexpectedly large on my skinny wrist.

I don't have both watches to compare them side by side. However, looking at the specs, they do seem to be the same. And from a manufacturing perspective it makes more sense to just replace the dial and keep everything else the same, so I would bet it's the same case. Maybe @LouS or others who compared both live can confirm.

From my experience as a brother from another mother in terms of skinny wrists 😀, I can say it wears fairly comfortable due to the rather short lugs. It does take me a couple of minutes to get used to the new perspective when I switch from a 34mm one to this one or to a larger 40mm chrono or back, but I think these little perspective changes are some of the good spices of life.
