·Based on your posts, you seem to be taking multiple positions on this at once, so I'm not really sure what you are after. You seem to want people to be able to make mods, but then criticize Omega for allowing it to happen. I'm not Omega, so I don't speak for them, so I was just replying to the hyperbole of your other post.
Honestly, I'm not after anything. I'm not pro mod or anti mod. People like to mod their watches, particularly Speedmasters, and maybe because there have been so many iterations over the years that lends itself to having a lot of permutations and combinations possible and past parts availability just made the cottage industry possible. Money drives many things in life. But it seems like the avenue for future mods is curtailed greatly with the current Omega policy for supplying parts.
