MOD : 2534.50 GMT 50th with PO bezel mod

Hi. I posted a thread on the Omega forums a while back about the combination of the Seamaster 50th Anniversary GMT model and the po bezel.


Today I share the result. There is a slight gap between the bezel and the case. And there is a slight looseness when turning the bezel, but overall I think it fits well.

This is nice !! But I cannot help un seeing the gap, so I wouldnt do it on my own GMT 50th anniversary. But thank you for trying for us!

Not sure what you are highlighting above but the gap that annoys many with this mod is that around the crystal. It is fixable on the 3 hander at least by also fitting the 2201.50 crystal as well as bezel but then you are into the mod for like $500 on parts alone so you had better like it!

To the OP, sorry for the downer but I personally think the bezel swap with the gap looks wrong. Either do both or leave it alone IMO.

ps I don’t like the aftermarket ceramic insert much either. Sorry!

aha......was not looking at what you were looking at. Will have to stick to modding things where the parts are actually modular and built to go together.
