Hello everyone,
I would like to get some more information about this omega geneve 136.041.
I have searched everywhere online and couldnt get answers.
So:
I know that 136.041 is the ref number by a photo sent to me with other photos i got.
By serial number i know that its circa 1970.
But. I couldnt find the exact model with the exact dial.
I find some very similar with a slight dial difference.
Im wondering, any chance that this dial is taken from another model and put on on this ref?
Maybe somebody have some more details?
Please help
Im adding all photos ive got.

Thank you very much.

Possible but unlikely. It could be an Omega service dial that was installed during routine servicing, but it could just as easily be an original. There were lots and lots of variations on 1970s era Genève dials; I'm not aware of any comprehensive listing of them all.

There are a lot of different Genève dials and not all are documented on the web.
To me yours seems lecit.

What they said.
There were lots of variations during this period, this one looks great. Blue dials tend to have issues with the finish flaking or crazing, this one looks fantastic. Could be a service dial, but I’m betting it’s original. The lume plots are perfect and a great creamy lemon which is what one would expect if it’s been kept well. The case looks a little soft but if the price is right, it would make for a nice regular wear.

I am going out on a bit of a limb here, but I think it has been redialed. Blue dial Genèves are not flat blue, but metallic like the grey one posted by @flqt-9000 above.

The location of T SWISS MADE T is also strange. From India perhaps.

What do you mean by “from India”? Do the redials from there have some specific detail?

They are often very colorful, and have a certain look. If you do a search on the forum for "Mumbai special", you can see some examples. Or just browse eBay.

By looking at some of the reported “Mumbai special” example it seems like the font of the Omega writing is different. If the one of the opener is redial then the font is very well imitated.

I agree, as are the lume pips which usually look like chewing gum. If this is a redial, it’s very well done IMO

The A in Omega also looks quite blobby

The finish on the whole watch seems a little off. (Case brushing and dial)

This is the Omega logo from one of my Genèves for reference. The watch is NOS.

The font seems quite different, so what is this intended to demonstrate. They may both be correct variations, but obviously not the same. Just look at the three lines in the E. M and G also totally different.

Edit: Wait a second, you're not the OP. What's going on? The OP looks like he checked out so why are we even discussing this?

Korea is my guess. All the hallmarks of our least favorite ebay seller....
