Hey guys, am I the only one who thinks this movement in Zodiac ref. 742-908 is missing some screws? Is there any other problems to spot I'm missing?::confused2::

The bigger question: If they were there to begin with, where are they now??

The caliber 74, like many other movements, is based on an AS 1687/8 ebauche.
Because of this, there are often "empty holes" in base calibers where the particular location isn't used in the adoptive caliber.
The Cal 74 auto design was developed by a consortium (Zodiac, Doxa, Girrard Perregaux and others) so if you look at some of their calibers you'll see the same empty holes.

I totally understand your concern about the screws missing in the Zodiac movement. It's always frustrating when something doesn't seem quite right, especially with a watch that you love.

I have a lot of missing and loose screws. ::rimshot::
    (Sorry I could not resist.)

My zodiac is missing more than a few screws.

I would suggest checking with a watchmaker or technician to see if there are any other issues with the movement that you might have missed. Sometimes, small problems can snowball into bigger ones if they're not addressed early on. Also, if you do need to replace any screws or hardware, I found a website that has a good selection of angle brackets that might be helpful: https://www.scrooz.com.au/hardware/angle-brackets/. They have a variety of sizes and materials available, so you can find exactly what you need.
