Hi just woundered if any one had a seamaster Apollo with the his spelt box

 

Search for the misspelled word "manking" on the forum, you'll find several threads.

Doubt it since the rare speedmaster with the typo on the bezel is not worth anymore then the same year watch.

The Seamaster Apollo was a special LE to reward the fleet members tasked with sailing out to the splash-down site and retrieving the astronauts and capsule.

Given only to those present at the retrieval. Not unlike the gold Speedmaster gifted to astronauts in the late '60s.

 

Being made entirely of cheese, sadly none survive today.
