Minute markers on a Constellation ref. 2782

Hello everyone,

After years of staying away from Constellations, I'm now eyeing this ref. 2782. I'm inclined to ‘believe’ the dial, but I'm somewhat by the minute markers.

I've owned several ref. 2852s and a ref. 2700, and they also had minute markers (and even some arrowheads) that were slightly off, but this one seems a bit extreme.

Any thoughts?

+1 on redial. Something about the script doesn't seem right to me either. Could be smartphone sharpening artifacts though.

Agreed with the above comments.

From your quote, “I’ve owned several ref. 2852s and a ref. 2700, and they also had minute markers (and even some arrowheads) that were slightly off,” would you mind sharing some pictures of those watches?

It’s a redial. I’ve had the watch in my own hands, I know the seller who was made aware and it should‘ve been disclosed.

This one for instance. Some markers are on the rim and others over.

All in all, I think the redialer did a good job with the font, which makes it all the more puzzling how he managed to slip up on the minute markers.

A pity, really, because the dial looked rather fresh . These 1950s pieces often had quite vulnerable lacquer, prone to bubbling spots.
