Up for grabs this spectacular example of Universal Geneve FS aka "Ferrovie dello Stato" (Italian railway company) from 60s.
I sourced this watch for a collector that asked me to find a nice mk2 to pair with his mk1. Well, apparently that collector vanished into thin air (...) and now this watch needs a new owner 😀
I think that I sourced the best possible example available in the market, directly from the son of the first owner. As you can see enamel dial is totally flawless (if you see some spots in the pic, it is caused by the plexy) and collectors know how important this is.
Crown is original, case looks untouched with some minor marks, egdes are very pronounced, as you can see inner caseback still retains its tension ring (very rare to find) and it has no marks of previous services.
Movement is running strongly and pretty precisely.
Watch comes with a brand new black italian leather strap.
For sale at 850€ plus shipment.
