Nice vintage original watch from the 50/60s
Movement: Valjoux 72
Dial: not touched original, has some marks
Case: scratches and marks, says VD712 on the back, it is the civilian version according to another OF member
Size: 36,5mm without crown, 39,40mm with crown, 44,55mm lug to lug, 18mm lug size
I try to describe this as honest as possible:
This watch was bought from a watchmaker who had it in his drawer since the 70s, when he ended his busniess awhile ago. My plan was to just save it for the future but other things got in the way of that.
What has been done is that i took it to a watchmaker that helped me relume the hands and also got a chrono minute hand that was missing, and looked into the movement, but exept that it is not fully serviced yet since i thought about just keeping in the banksafe and not use it. So if you want to use it daily you need to service it. It does not run now, i wound it and it runs for some minutes and the chrono runs and resets but not everytime.
So please calculate in the price a need of service.
