Question ive seen a Mido I’m thinking of purchasing this Multifort grand lux superautomatic . Any thought , comments appriciated

 

Picture is so blurry it’s impossible to tell if the dial is original. Which is highly suspicious. Unless the seller posts a crisp picture you should pass.

 

Is it plated or solid gold?

Your Carter isn't a Carter, however. That name is for the watch left of the text, not right... Yours has a case and hand set similar to mine (which I guess is a Manning, even though it doesn't mention white dials...), but a different dial. Is it a 917 movement?

 

It's in a jewellers . I took the photo had the back off seems all in order plus seen hallmark

 

Use the photo of my stainless steel with gold bezel as a guide to how sharp it should look. From your photo I'd say it has been polished way to much
