Nearly shot myself in the foot then πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«
Bumped the thread before checking eBay.

This was a bit less than the boxed steering wheel.

A slightly different grey/silver based version to those previously shown.
Euro 63.50 shipped (half way around the world) 😎

Time to expand the volcanic lair 😜

We have been on the brink of hurting each other; for some strange reason, my bid disappeared in the cyberspace...

I hope you are luckier than I was with the one I bought last month, as my watchmaker has pronounced it dead on arrival.

Now I have to find a resucitator.

I think I may too have just purchased an expensive paperweight. πŸ™

Hi all,

Yep, I've just listed this on Ebay. I'd spotted an earlier thread so have joined up to your forum to spread the word!

This one belonged (from new) to my late father. It's in very nice condition, and original box etc. (... not sure about "papers" though?.. I guess there may be something under the plastic tray...).

Anyway - looks like it's now reached the right people to really appreciate it!

I look forward to seeing your bids flooding in! πŸ˜€

FYI there is currently on eBay some italian Tissot catalog with clock presented ( table wheel, jet and sonorous) on the last page which is not in the seller's picture.

@Emeister, absolutely! It's a pleasure, and happy to be a part of the forum. Since receiving the clock yesterday, I actually have a question or two if you or anyone else can help? The "nose cone" so to speak seems to be a little loose, as does the actual mechanism itself (doesn't want to screw on to the body securely, and almost wants to drop off, of its own accord!) Something else for me to worry about I guess lol.

Hi, I'm in New York. I know you posted this several years ago, but I thought I'd reach out to you. I just got a Tissot jet engine electronic clock, and the nose cone on mine is loose just as yours was. Were you able to find out whether or not this is the way the clock was manufactured? The setting knob works but sometimes it takes a few tries for it to engage. The clock runs intermittently and I'm hoping to find someone who can service it. If you've found out anything relevant since you posted your comment I'd be very grateful if you'd share it. Thanks very much.

Finally found the desk model on Ebay, still runs! A nice size on the desk, about 7.5 inch diameter.

Hi all
I'm new in this group and I love Tissot!
I'm hoping to get my hands on a Tissot Jet Engine clock in the future.....

Can anybody tell me how much they are going for these day's?
And I see 2 types of these clocks. 1 with a blue foot and the other one without colour. Is there a difference?

Thank you for your help

If you have 1 for sale, please let me know! πŸ˜€
