Viceroy! Picked it up this year. If I had the money, I think I could be pretty happy just focusing on vintage Heuer.

Still need to make a WTB for the matching bracelet so I don’t have to when you sell it to me 😗

My current plan is to keep putting it increasingly absurd natos to drive you bananas 😜

I actually do like the sound of that. I think the viceroys look really nice on a light brown leather strap.

When I bought it @Dan S had it on a nice black rally strap, but my darn wrist is too big and I barely fit on the last hole in the strap, lol.

Same here...

especially because I want to mock what they look like/how they dress. 😎😁

Don't steal my thunder! (well...unless you are good at mocking) 😁

It was a Dan watch, that explains why it is so sharp

And eventually our NYC friends will host an entire east coast event with a fully secured comped hotel for everyone to stay in. Everyone in New York is rich and owns hotels, right?

We actually had a small (and very fun!) NYC G2G a number of years ago. 2015 or 2016

BandR has a good selection of decently long rally straps for not a ton of money (recommended by another huge-wristed lunk)

Okay, another one: as a result of this horo-fest, did anyone get to see and experience a particular watch that they previously only experienced from pictures on the Net, and if so, were you more, or less inclined to add it on your wish list?
Absolutely, the Flightmaster is a beast that I thought would never fly on my wrist, but after holding it in the metal, it's on the list. There were a number of other amazing pieces that are on the list, pre-moon Speedie and Tintin to name a few, that I will continue to lust after, but likely never be able to justify. Just being able to hold and admire them in person was an absolute thrill!

Many thanks again to everyone involved in setting this up and making it a success. I was a bit nervous being my first G2G, but immediately felt at ease once I started my first conversation. Great to meet such a diverse group of people with a common interest!

And a couple photos of the bunch

They are kinda cool, are they not?
Serious cool!

I’d gladly support those as a source to offset OF overhead….

We gave ours away free to G2G attendees. My guess is that the Swatch Group and their lawyers would probably not be pleased if anyone other than a licensee of the marks was selling them.

I’d gladly DONATE cash to the OF cause, if a free thank you gift should arrive at my door ….

…completely understand the way you feel but, alternately, you can also poney up for a trip to the mothership, enjoy their wonderful (and free) museum… AND get one of these mugs at their souvenir store. 😁

Looks like most of the watches were set to the same time. No trailer queens in the bunch. Well done, everyone!

Quite a handsome bunch, too. I can't decide which is my favorite (not talking about the watches.) Thanks for bringing the cheer this holiday season.

It was really a great afternoon and certain to become an annual event. And of course I bought another watch (insert eye roll HERE). Just want to thank everyone for coming and everyone who contributed to organizing the event. My new Omega ornament will be the first one on my tree. And here’s a group photo of some of our Mid-Atlantic OF members who made this such a fun day!

It would be nice to attach the forum names to each of the smiling faces.
