Sometimes we buy a watch that is better in person than the scans that make us buy it
That was certainly the case with this one I recently received from Adam (Photo500)
Although not mentioned in his offering, it came with the original Omega logo crystal.
Needless to say that buying from a watchmaker, it came fully serviced.
Hard to believe it winds like butter and keeps time like you would hope a Speedmaster does.
Also included was the original trapezoid logo version 1171 bracelet and 633 end-links.
There is some slim chance that this was the bracelet model meant to be married to this late serial numbered (277xxxxx) watch. However I was told by an Omega Customer Service to ask if there is someway that the experts in Bienne would know what it should or could have been married to when I request my Letter from the Archives. If I hit the lotto and "the experts" are able to tell which one, I'll be sure and share that information.
While we're waiting, enjoy Mickey's new/old Speedmaster.

 

Great watch indeed! I've found that some extracts specify the bracelet while others don't (even for the same model with serials in the same month) and I've no clue why this is the case. Here's hoping that yours comes back with a bracelet reference!
