Wanted to get everyone’s opinion.. Are we team mesh or team rubber.

Please give reasons why.

Tried mesh but didn’t suit my wrist shape/size.
Only strap I’ve had that left an imprint from the clasp despite not being overly tight.
Looks great but not for me. I prefer either nato or cordura if not on bracelet.
I do have the rubber on a Planet Ocean and it is super comfortable .

I want to like mesh but just can’t cope with the way it meets the case. I don’t mind that sort of gap with a leather or fabric strap, but somehow, when it’s metal, it just looks unfinished or poorly fitted to my eyes. But this is a “me” thing, not an Omega thing.

Neither for me. Mesh, so old looking to me. And that over big spring bar... And even if we were in the 50's. Mesh on a diver. Can't get it.

Rubber to choose one. Even if I never wear one. Skin can't breath under that thing. Nato all the way for summer time.

Rubber all day every day & twice on a Sunday. No keen on the lug gap on the mesh or the uncomfortable gap on the clasp.

Love all these answers. I will also add the OEM did not work on my wrist. I found a great alternative in the Arroway mesh bracelet.

Look them up if anyone is interested in the mesh look!

I love both mesh and rubber so much that when I switch it’s hard to switch back lol.

Rubber, I bought that rubber in blue for my SMP and I love it. I've never tried the mesh because of how thick it is at the clasp, just can tell from photos I'd hate that. Also, quite expensive if going OEM.

Mesh, if it fits your wrist.
It has the strap usability but in metal.

I love a black rubber strap on the black and the white Seamasters and bracelets on the rest. Something about a colored rubber strap makes it look like a toy to me… guess it just reminds me of a slap watch. (Totally a me thing!)

Probably irrational but it bothers me that Omega doesn't make ends formed to contour the case. The rubber strap does. My mesh bands have to meet the case. Not a fan.

Oh man I’ve never noticed that. My ocd is gonna flare now lmao.

Mesh if it fits you well. The endlink never bothered me since the mesh was always more of a vintage/retro look to me anyway.

I prefer the original Seamaster metal bracelet. Call me old fashioned but the Omega Seamaster 300m diver is the Bond watch and the 7 link metal bracelet just makes it more a Bond watch

Seamaster on rubber with a deployant, unbeatable

What is it about rubber on deployment that is so incredible? I'm not sure but it's great.

Probably convience, it is much easier to put the watch on and take it off

If you dive (it seems to be a diver's watch), then rubber. I'm not a fan of either. Would rather the steel bracelet if given a choice (speedmaster) or a leather band.

I am looking at a White Dial Speedmaster moon watch. Does anyone know how the leather band feels? I thought I read somewhere about it being thick and clunky feeling. I have a metal band on my black moon watch. I like it, but the leather looks sharp.
