Happy Holidays from Las Vegas.

I’ve been fascinated with watches since my grandma took me watch shopping for my first watch at 8 years old; it was a basic, silver Timex.

I currently have several nice watches. As a diver and retired law enforcement, I mostly have tactical Luninox and dive type watches, including two Submariners, a 116610LV and 16613LN. That said, I’ve always wanted an Omega Seamaster Professional with the sword hand and waveless black dial, but never looked hard for one.

Well, last week I was at a jewelry store to have my FBI Academy ring repaired (long story) when I spotted this cherry Seamaster Professional sitting forlornly is the display case. Yada yada yada and I am now the proud owner of an as new 2006 Seamaster 2594..52, complete with boxes, warranty cards, hang tag, etc. I love my Subs, but the Seamaster just has a certain
je ne sais quoi the Rolex lacks; it definitely looks like it means business.

Welcome to the Omega Forum. That's a great watch you picked up, where it in good health. There are a few LEO's on OF (I'm retired). 👍

I think you're ok. You could have put it Modern Omega Watches, but 6 of one...

Is there a clear sandwich back that would fit this model?

You posted in the watch photography section, which you clearly posted photos of watches 😜 so you’re good.

If you’re into guns, there is a thread for you:
Welcome to the forum and congrats on the watch.

Unlikely. I don’t believe Omega made a sapphire caseback for this reference and this reference isn’t popular enough for an aftermarket option. Just means you need another Omega in your collection in which you can find a sapphire caseback 😉

Btw, we are a bunch of enablers here… so have fun 😀

Beautiful revolver! I inherited a 1970 Colt Python and I love it! Although this is probably the wrong thread! Anyway…cool gun!

Thanks!
The 70 Python still shipped with the 2nd gen grips. My favorite.

It’s kind of a cool story. I inherited a 1970 python with less than 10 shots fired through it and a
1970 Speedmaster. My Dad liked the best of things back in the day.

This requires a Python / Omega picture 😀

I am terrible with IT stuff, but here it goes!
Sweet!

Not sure where my dad’s Timex is, but here’s his 1937 Colt Official Police (bottom left). Need to update my Colt family portrait.

Congrats man, they’re a great piece and quite good value as the pre-owned market really overlooks this generation despite a quite thin and cool movement for a chronograph.
