"Christmas Eve" here.

I'm not a Muslim, so I can't celebrate Ramadan,
I'm not a Hindu so I can't celebrate Diwali,
I'm not a Jew, so I can't celebrate Hanukkah,
And unfortunately, I'm an Atheist so I can't (while being true to myself) celebrate Christmas.

However, I do celebrate a time of year of coming together with family and friends, and simply enjoying their company.

So for me it's not Christmas, or the Holidays, but simply Xmas.

Merry Xmas to you all from our little getaway in the hills. Unlike normal Aussie Xmas weather (30º+) it's thunderstorms, bucketing down rain, 13ºC outside and a FIRE GOING! At this time of year??????

The world has gone mad!
