I want to offer this piece as it didn't get the attention which it deserves. I am not a regatta timer collector and so I hope somebody in here is interested.
For sale is a Memosail Automatic with Valjoux 7750 It's a prototype and never was produced this way. It's hard to find information, fortunately I was able to chat with Hendrik from Heuerchrono.com (thanks 馃憤 ) and check the watch. Everything seems to be fine. One thing to mention is, the yacht timer is not resetting to Start which seems to be a know topic with these prototypes. Maybe that's - besides the Quartz crisis at this time - one reason why it did not reach mass production. My watchmaker said it should be possible to adjust, but I never handed over the watch to him.
To sum up: for sale is a legit prototype of a great yacht timer from the 70ies. The case wears a bit like a Speedy Mark II, colors are nice and it's for sure something special. Hope someone likes it and gives it more attention than I do 馃檮
Asking EUR 1.500,-- Watch and I are located in Vienna/Austria shipping within Europe is on me, international shippings tbd. Face to face preferred 馃榿
