    Hello fellow members,
Would like to share the dial of a Megaquartz. I have the stainless steel Omega Megaquartz 2.4Mhz for some years but didn't aware of the texture dial of it until recently I took it our for change of battery. It's beautifully.

    Hope you like it.

You have a very strange black waffle dial mega quartz
The minute track and the hour track are the same length
There are 2 variations of this dial see my photos 8C7A3EBE-DEB0-4ECD-9ED4-8C8E24509472.jpeg

    Hi TsoloT,
Thank you for your observations and comments. I have checked my other Megaquartz blue dust dial and f8192 gold dial. Their minute and hour tracks pattern are same as my ss Megaquartz posted earlier.

    Same as

Yes I have 2 mega quartz which are the same see the photos...but the black waffle has variations

I have a blue waffle which is very very rare I think it’s the only one made...I might be wrong...and there is also a brown waffle and of course the Blue pupitre

But yours is the first I have seen with the same size chapter markers
Can you post this as a new thread and let’s ask the forum 2FF22EAD-F218-4BC1-AECB-9FEE0FEFC9B8.jpeg 061EF0CF-555F-4090-BBD9-9EF2380E7D0C.jpeg C2D6B8AA-BB18-4D65-8B38-91506E3635C0.jpeg

    Hello other senior OF members,
Perhaps, you can give us your insight in respect of the minute/hour track variations.

p.s. @Tom Dick being expert in Omega electronic watches can give your input. Thanks in advance.

    Morning gang

Some amazing watches here. Well, indeed right there are quite a few variations of the megaqaurtz F2.4mhz dials, primarily because the dials where not manufactured by the same company.

Stuart is quite right that there is a brown variant but it is in fact an aged dial as opposed to being made brown.

I’ve seen and owned three other variants, there is a silver dial with short marker variant that was mine which is now owned by sts, I’ve also owned a gloss black version myself.

They made so few of these watches that it’s surprising how many different dials they did but in the last two years I’ve turned up three different dials

Nope, it's a 1343 Quartz Chronometer for the US Market from 1979 if memory serves.

On the subject of Megaquartz 2.4mhz watches some of you might be interested in what I had put together a few (well 6+ now) years ago : http://forum.tz-uk.com/showthread.php?191564-Omega-2-4Mhz-Megaquartz-Collected-Pictures-and-Facts - KeithT had provided some extra info on the "waffle" versions.

I don't remember ever seeing a "silver" dial but that thread has a very rare (never seen another one) 18k gold colored dial.
