So I just got this mechanical Omega Geneve cal 601 back from being serviced. First time of winding it since it coming back and it seemed to only want to wind 5 times before I felt resistance. It ran for a few hours and stopped again. This was the first time winding it so I don't know if I'm being paranoid but it seemed strange to me. I don't know much about mechanical winding watches. What is the correct way to wind them? For the record, it was serviced by Omega out of an Omega boutique. IMG_9174.JPG IMG_9177.JPG

Wind it until you can't wind it anymore - should be obvious when it's fully wound. If it only runs for a few hours after doing that, take it back and have them fix it.

    Cheers, Al
