May I Have Your Advice On This Omega Constellation Deluxe

Dear Friends,
I have an Omega Constellation Pie Pan Deluxe Ref. 2853/2852 that comes with gold bracelet and the calibre 505 movement, for my consideration.

The watch is in good condition both functionally and physically. Its calibre 505 movement has been serviced and it looks very clean without any sign of corossion (picture unavailable).

The gold medallion at its case-back is beautiful and intact. But, the case-back has scratches with an inscription of the name of its previous owner. Is it correct that a simple polish should get rid of all this?

I have the following additional queries for your advice:
1) Is it correct that its crown is a replacement piece? If so, is it a 'proper' and acceptable replacement crown for this Constellation Deluxe model?
2) Its gold bracelet is similar to the gold bracelet used on the Constellation Grand Luxe. Is this an original gold bracelet for this Constellation Deluxe model as well?
3) Its dial shows sign of aging. How do you rate the condition of the dial and has it been redialed?
4) If this is deemed a good Constellation Deluxe worthy of purchase, what is a reasonable price to pay for it?

Thank-you in advance for your valuable advice.

Best regards,
Watchfun2

Original dial, nice case, and correct bracelet. I would advise buying it at the right price but would leave the caseback as is inscription and all - the rest of the watch is good enough that I would tolerate the inscription.

Cool watch - and bracelet. Make sure the bracelet is long enough as finding extra links is near impossible.

What looks like scratches below the 9 and 10 O'clock marker is just shadows from scratches on the crystal, right?

Yea was going to say just that, if you have a fat wrist like mine, make sure it fits or at least is within a couple months of dieting of fitting.

Thanks, MSNWatch,
May I know what is the right price?

$6-7k - closer to 7k if the bracelet is full length (fits up to an 8 inch wrist).

Thanks, Pahawi and dsio.
Thanks for the good reminder.
I believe the 'scratches' are just shadows. It is not easy to take good shots with all the reflections.

Has this bracelet been repaired?

I know the sizing process involves gold solder but on the 6 oclock side near the clasp there's a number of links that appear like they're soldered together into a solid block which is often done on these after breakages of the bracelet, the 12 side near the clasp you can see distinct gaps between the links but not so on that 6 side near the clasp.

Same watch with the engraving? And is that watch that sold yellow or pink gold?

Is this the same watch that sold on eBay? Are you trying to buy the watch or sell it?

No, MSNWatch, it is not the same watch sold on eBay as far as I know.
This watch is from a dealer at my place of stay.
Did you come across this watch on eBay before?
