Been busy with real life lately, and also caught the modern watch bug abit. I had my sights set on a VC overseas 4500v blue dial but found it too big (little overhang on the wrist). Actually like the GP Laureato but still looking around.

A friend told me to look at Maurice LaCroix Aikon and for the price I paid for it. (About 40% off MSRP) used, I picked up the blue dial.

Incredible piece, bracelet, in house movement with a crazy blue dial.

Sure it isn't a 15500/15400/15300 but at just over 1000 USD, I think this punches easily at a 4000-5000 price range of a watch.

 

I bought one as well. I had showed her the competition, she said she liked this one the best - at least from her aesthetics perspective.

 

I am a big fan of this watch. To bad it’s not imported to the US in the 39mm size where I could try it on etc. Well maybe it is a good thing. Either way, congrats and consider me jealous
