I thought it would bother me, but my Seiko Five starts up with a few shakes and keeps running without issue when I wear it.

Pretty disgraceful isn't it? I've had several and still have two microbrands using he Seiko NH35 movement. I only have to pick them up and they're off and running: it can't be right.

What surprises me most of all is how long it keeps running after wearing it a while.

I have a modern Hamilton and Tissot, and they both don’t build up a power reserve as quickly and as long-lasting as the cheap Seiko Five...

That is really cool. That is how it should be if you cannot manually wind it.

+$3100 for the yellow gold day/date one? WTF? Oh it's a Co-axial 8500 in addition to the gold bezel. Regardless you could drop a zero from either one and I still wouldn't be wearing one.

Is that the knife you posted on IG? I was wondering what that was. Really looks great.

The spyderco native 5 yeah! For the blue boxes the price you pay is for the base model with a chance for upgraded models (different blade metals and handle materials, and other free stuff). I only got an upgrade to g10 handle but it’s a great knife so far. Still new to the knife hobby world

The tach bezel on this watch is numbered in "miles per hour" with the 12 marker (mph when timing a minute) being 37.2. 60 km/hr = 37.28 mph. This implies that the suggested use of this watch is to time how long it takes you to travel a single kilometer and then you can read off your speed in miles per hour. Which nobody wanted to do, ever.

I know the idea of loads of watch complications is to admire them, not use them, but give me a break.

Plus, it should be 37.3, not 37.2. Buncha maroons.

Dive watches that see only depths of the back of drawers in filing cabinets, Fliegers that have never been in a cockpit, GMTs that never travel outside one time zone..... so why not make another even MORE useless feature? 😜

Yeah, really! Invicta HunkaJunk sell for $79.95 with 5 easy value pays but have an MSRP of $109,999.95! 😜 Dude, that's the retail game - and not just for watches.
Invicta also owns glycine now which could explain it ::facepalm1::

Still, reasonably priced for what it is and compared to some other retailers. Whether you think Glycine is now irrevocably tainted by the Invicta connection is entirely a personal decision 😜

I snagged an old style Airman 18 purist a while back. It cost me nearly $100 more plus postage. I think it's a great watch, and from what I've read, Invicta's ownership has not really resulted in any detriment to the Glycine brand apart from some carping about design changes (unless you get really hung up on ETA -v- Sellita).
