    Having visited the Moon by manned & unmanned spacecraft, our natural satellite still holds some mysteries:
    LTP - Lunar Transient Phenomena, why is the Moon shrinking, Moon' sodium tail, tectonic Moonquakes, etc...
    After a 5000 years old fascination of depicting the Moon, the 20th century allowed an artist to place an artifact on the Lunar Surface...
    The " Fallen Astronaut " sculpture, by Belgian Artist Paul Van Hoeydonck, was brought to the Moon by the Apollo 15 crew... See:

    A couple of years ago, I was shown the original design and had the privilige to hold the "reserve" Fallen Astronaut statuette in my hand...
