I don't think the spelling on the box really affects the price much. The error in the spelling makes it more collectible, think of it like misprinted currency notes.

Years ago, I talked with Gene about his "for all manking" mistake during his last words on the Moon. Gene said that because Neil screwed up his first words on the Moon, he felt that he should screw up his last words on the Moon. Besides, I think Gene would have liked all men to be mankings. 😀

A little lame but i like your idea of all men being kings. 😀

It has slipped since they started making all boxes and bracelets in China. ::stirthepot::
It's been awhile since Omega boxes have been made in China, even those old red boxes were made in china.

As an American, knowing the importance and historic relevance of the event, I find it appalling.

A little perspective here, it's a spelling mistake on a piece of packaging.

On the scale of appalling, which ranges from bunnies to armageddon, this is barely even an over cooked toasted cheese sandwich.

An American with the Eiffel Tower as his profile pic, talking about a mistake made by a Swiss watch company, debating with an English gentleman (with whom I agree), telling us it is unfortunate Americans have grown accustomed to mediocrity!

To each it’s own, it’s your money, not mine 😀

It is unfortunate Americans have become accustomed to mediocrity. I grew up in a different time.

It's not my money, I don't own one of these watches.

You may have grown up in a different time, but you seem to have perfected the modern day overreaction to a tee. 😉

Spelling mistakes happen... Omega will fix this (if people want to swap their boxes)... no one died.

Oh, I see you took the childish route. I knew I wasn’t going to last long. Thank and feel free to delete my account. I don’t like stupid childish insults.

Idiots!
Don’t know what’s childish about pointing out facts! Good luck to you!

Opinions are not facts, but continue on your stupidity journey. I’m sure people like you attract a lot of new members. People like you, who can’t have an adult conversation and debate an issue rationally, keep people like me away from places like this.

I gave my opinion, and like a child, you went on the insult route instead of initiating a conversation. Attacking me over my patriotism and my avatar?

Really? You and your sort can keep your place, I’m sure you are all cut from the same pattern.

Grow up!
Not sure what part of what I said was an opinion or an insult! Just stated the facts, to point out the irony that you said “unfortunate Americans have grown accustomed to mediocrity” and the only American part of the equation was (possibly) yourself.

ops I guess I had I little to much... I meant King. now corrected😟

You must be related to the guy who letters the Omega boxes.

::rimshot::

Better not swap the Man King box as it'll probably go for stupid money in the future
nice for the collection in the future that may be worth a lot

Just like those Jenny Airmail stamps with the upside-down plane. 😜

Wonder if omega in their rush to get things done have some QC issues.

Sorta like that whole caliber 2500 thing where the watch just stopped working? 🙄 🤦 Nah, Omega NEVER has any issues caused by rushing product to market before vetting it! 😉
