    To me it looks like a terrific watch with little or no tampering. Maybe service that movement before putting it back to work.

    Latest images of movement are from before service. Now it's ok.

    From Longines have this information:

    The original serial number 5'463'357 identifies a wristwatch in stainless steel. It is fitted with a Longines manually wound mechanical movement, caliber 15.94. It was invoiced on 20.05.1937 to the company Guth, which was at that time our agent for Slovakia.

    Fantastic watch. 1937! so it's a WW2 survivor and from a very hard hit area. it's funny how the Panerai Radiomir original models closely resemble this beauty you have. what's the case size?

    oh wow!! based on the pic I wold have thought it to be closer to 44!! hard to tell on the wrist capture, I'm guessing the image is slightly distorted.

    40mm on that design is a great wear. Enjoy it!!
