How about a little macro guessing game?

Here's my suggestion: post a macro photo of a watch, be it dial, hands, case etc. and let's see who recognizes it? Maybe try to include some telltales to make it possible and interesting. Whaddya think?

Let me start it with the following.

 

It's a Chronomatic Group caliber. Since it's SWISS instead of SWISS MADE it might be a Hamilton. although Autavias had that black & orange coloring. Probably an 11, 12, 14 or 15 if it's automatic, and a Valjoux 77xx if manual. The bezel is a good clue too.

 

Should the watch only Omega or other brands as well?

 

That's definitely not an Omega, or at least any that I know of.

 

Not bad Dennis Close enough for me. It is a manual version autavia, so 74363 is right here. No way of telling that from the macro however. Glad I started with an easy one

Wavy dial - originally thought it's a 2254 or some similar SMP but they have sword hands.
