·Hi all,
I've had my Seamaster for a few years now (cal 552, early 60s) and I've noticed that many (if not all) old Seamasters on this site that have lume on the hands also have lume on the dial. My watch doesn't have that- in fact the hands are lumed but I cannot seem to find any spots on the dial where lume may have been at some point in the past.
So my question is this- have the hands likely been replaced on my Seamaster before I got it? If yes, I am definitely going to try to track down a set of original (or as close to it as possible) hands.
Thanks
