Loving my new 14701 Seamaster Meister Edition :)

Just wanted to share this beauty and how it confused me 😀

In my opinion, this is my 5th perfect vintage Omega, more than half the time something ends up being wrong and it's always devastating - I didn't expect this one to keep time before a service either, but it does keep time, which increases the joy

I was actually going to stop buying watches other than C-Case Constellations, and sell the ones I already have / that are on the way, but after this watch I'll probably won't be able to simplify things like that

I didn't notice it before but the lugs are incredibly long on this case, really love the indices and appreciate that no one damaged any of the lume pips yet - with the C-Case's, I stopped caring, don't have a perfect pip'ed one yet :/

I tried on a couple of 18mm bracelets I had, but a high contrast leather in my opinion goes best with the edgy lugs, 90% of the photos online seems to pair it with a leather strap too

Here is my no date version. Snagged it a few months back and it seemingly sat in a safe for decades. I had a spare BOR bracelet lying around, but I'm still looking for something that complements it.

Thanks for sharing the information about the crown, I'll be on the lookout for one - usually the wrong crowns bother me, but with this one I didn't notice it before you pointed out

There are also quite a few with this crown: - so I wonder if there were 2 crowns, or whether a high portion of them just got different replacement crowns

I believe BOR is indeed the intended bracelet, so many with BOR

After seeing critos71's version tho, I wish I had tried my 7912 with 4 endlinks on this watch, if it fits, I'd probably keep them together, never even occurred to me to even try it - sad part is, I'm in isolation until 17th of May and the bracelet and watch is in another house :/
