And if you really want views on whether or not it’s a ‘good find’, by which I assume value for money, you mind want to give an exact, or rough, indication of what you paid.
(By the way, it’s a Geneve rathe than a Geneva)
Certainly nothing to complain about with respect to condition. Two case numbers because that case as used for two different models. I am fairly confident yours is the upper one.
Thanx.
It's the bottom number I found to match on the Omega site. See the first comment and attached pictures
And your watch is stainless, while the matching number is gold plated.
Omega does not have everything in its vintage database.
A good find is a good find and in my opinion has nothing to do with the price, mostly quality and rarity i guess.
Any way, i've seen enough comments to realize that there are so many different opinions on price
that i find it completely irreverent. Its one thing to give an appraisal and another to find it at that price.
So price to me is only what one would pay for a vintage, unless there are many of the exact watch and quality out there,
which in most cases there isn't.
Some minor things:
Crown seems to be an replacement, could be the correct replecment one I don't know
Crystal seems unsigned
Pictures are a bit overexposed, is there an engraving on the outer caseback like that [EDIT like seen on other examples]:
As @Spruce said without knowing the price there is something missing to paint the whole picture
Have to disagree with you there. The price/condition ratio has everything to do with whether I'd describe it as a 'good find' or not. If you found it for €20 it was a very good find, but if you've paid €2000 I'd say it wasnt't a good find at all!
