Merry Christmas to everyone on this Forum!

I have been asked by a friend if I could “report” a lost SBS Seamaster GMT here on the Forum (and I did seek permission and should like to thank @dsio for allowing this post).
It was lost in the Soho area of London just before Christmas. I believe the owner was slightly inebriated so can’t remember exactly where or when he was last aware of it being on his wrist on the night in question. It is number 143/500 and is/was a personal issue watch.
If anyone comes across this watch I should be grateful if they could let me know so that it could be “repatriated” with its (careless) owner!
As you can see these are a couple of pictures I have received of the said watch.

Thank you for taking the time to read this!

Wishing you and your friend the best of luck. I trust it has been reported as lost with the Metropolitan Police? (Or whichever police has jurisdiction).

They can enter both the 143/500 and the serial number of the watch in their database.

Any query of one or both of these two numbers by police after it has been entered on the database will generate a “hit”.

The sooner the better.

There is some honest people out there hope it gets handed back to the rightful owner.

I second this. The owner may also want to use https://www.thewatchregister.com/ to enter the relevant information on the watch.
