This reminds me of the resurrected Wyler brand that tried to sell $10k chronographs (and 200k tourbillons) in 2008. Long story short, the former can be bought for ~1-2k new.

I can totally understand why something as striking as this causes such a reaction, and of course I would never dream of plonking down that crazy money for it (unless I wanted to guarantee yet another divorce ) just a general thought that it's different strokes and all that...

 

I can tolerate the deconstructed tourbillon, but I have trouble with the claim that this is somehow inspired by the multi-window Angelus travel clocks of the '60s.
