Loose bezel on a vintage Squale

Hi all,

I recently bought a vintage Squale/Darris divers watch, but unfortunately the top of the bezel have come loose and is now separated from the watch. My first thought was to glue it in place with a small amount of epoxy glue, but I'm considering if it will destroy (what I understand is) bakelite material over time?
Any good suggestions or inputs?

Thanks,

Jesper

would recommend the 3m double sided tape they do it in a circle and you can just cut in half to fit bezel

I have glued it with epoxy and I’m very pleased with the result
