Who - Daniel Craig or Tom Hiddleston?

Personally, I think that if the producers want to continue in the take on Bond that they established so well with Craig, they ought to cast Tom Hardy. He has the same hard-bitten grit that Craig brought to the role. If you haven't seen it, I recommend Legend, in which Hardy plays both of the notorious Kray twins.

He's got such a busy and roll varied career going I'm surprised he's interested in such a slog. Money I guess.

I cannot have an opinion as "Pratt" is the only thing I've figured out.
Either I'm dense (a distinct possibility) or the rest of it is incomprehensible U.K. slang.
"Vanna, can you give me ALL the vowels?"
    OR....
Maybe I don't really wanna know.
I'll just pretend I understand this and go along with the group...maybe If I laugh loud enough
no one will notice I am clueless?

I would be excited to see Idris Elba take on this role. He has the chops and gravitas to carry the character forward in a gritty and action oriented way which I enjoy from the recent series.

I agree - he'd be terrific, and he could wear the role of Bond like a bespoke suit.

True that. It's hard to believe from this distance that a Hamilton Pulsar LED watch, like Moore wore in The Spy who Loved Me (I think - or was it Moonraker?), was a fairly expensive piece of kit in those days.

The series was actually called Spooks, but renamed MI-5 for the US market. If you are referring to "Tom" who was the lead the first couple of seasons, his name is Matthew Mcfadyen...

It was a show I really enjoyed...

I agree - Tom Hardy would do well in this role. It's funny that you refer to Craig in the way you do. When he was first cast, the uproar over his selection on some forums I was on at the time was amazing. Many said he could not play a tough Bond, but has ended up being one of the toughest I would say.

Daniel brought more grittiness to the role which I'm a huge fan of. It was more dark in a way compared to the Brosnan era.
I think Hiddleston is up to the task.

Yes no doubt he did, but when it was first announced he would be the next Bond there was a vocal group that thought he was a bit of a pansy...mostly people who had not seen too many of his previous films.

Yes indeed - one of the best parts of that film.

Now if we could only get Bruce Wayne to wear an Omega ...
