    Hi,

I've just posted my first thread in the vintage section, as I'm looking to get a 1968 Seamaster.

I bought a second hand 2532.80.00 in 2006, with box but no papers and have never really taken to it. It's a nice looking watch, I love the 'mechanical-ness' of the insides, but it's not special to me, if that makes sense. I haven't had it serviced since I bought it, but I timed it and it just gained 7 seconds over the last 3 days. Likely looking to sell this to fund the vintage one.

It has a 1120 chrono movement, 23 jewels, 5 pos +temp, with serial number 6047xxxx inside and a laser etched number 8017xxxx on a lug.

So..... I know that some will 'take it off my hands if you don't like it' ;) but I'm trying to work out a value. I was hoping around the AU$2000 mark, but that might be on the high side.

Your best idea is to check eBay sold and completed listings for the same watch. That'll give you an idea of approximate value.

Any buyer will have to factor in the cost of a servicing, so take that into account.
