What I mean by the post is that I am not looking for the usual suspects with unique features e.g. Omega, Rolex etc. I want things I can keep for my lifetime, but are also unique and a bit of conversation piece.

I am looking for the more unique end of the spectrum, things like Warenbach which are affordable but also unique. I've seen a few, but wondered what else might be out there that people have seen. Watches made of submarines, nuclear missile casings and other weird and wonderful things!

    Cheers!

I can pretty much guarantee you will not bump into a lot of OULM wearers. There are many, many reasons for this.......:p

Peter is a very nice guy, and made some nice watches - note that he is no longer a part of the brand that bears his name though...

That happens a LOT, and not only in the watch trade.

Correct @Archer , it doesn’t preclude them from being relatively unique watches.

Nope not at all, it's just that many will assume he's still involved unless they follow things closely, so I wanted to point it out.

Certainly a brand I like, but not sure how unique they are in the designs - they are typically fairly classical designs and materials...

Indeed on PSM, With regards to Habring2, yes the case size and materials are generic but their manufacture movements and unusual complications and attention to detail are cool and low production numbers ensure relatively rarity.

Keaton P Myrick is definitely in a realm of his own. Not sure of the price but definitely bespoke watchmaking.

The OP seems more interested in unusual materials...
