VTA used to make the 4-pin version, similar to Seiko's, but it appears they revised the design to a 8-tip star-shaped wheel.

@Archer
It's for your series of movements...5626 is one of the calibers listed, which is what your watch has.
I will place an order. Should I place it for more than one?

I'm servicing a Seiko 5606-7000 that had a broken day/date corrector wheel star, got a metal one from Adrian and fitted it.
Here you can see the disassembled item with the broken plastic star wheel.

And here it is after fitting it to the plate and installing it.
Testing showed that it works without any problems.

Only if you have more than one movement that needs the upgrade.

I will order one only. I have also read that one should also replace the gaskets when replacing the corrector wheel. Do you know what gasket kit should I get? Thank you

I assume that he is the person you are buying the part from in Australia. I send all of my Seiko watches to him.

The watch arrived just as described

Day/Date adjusted with no issues. Crown rotation not crusty, silky dial, and crisp edges. Yes!

P.S.: I promise I'll be a good boy and use Kanji characters in the future.

Beautiful watch (and set). And just to say, I spend most of time in the vintage Seiko rabbit hole and Adrian at VTA is one of the best vintage Seiko guys anywhere in the world, he really is trying to make things better than trying to make a fast buck imho.

As promised, started learning the weekdays in Kanji.

Here is Thursday. The day wheel only shows the 1st character of the weekday name in written Kanji.
