Looking for my first Timepiece

The sub doesn't excite me and the Milgauss looks dated in my opinion. I think I'd pass on the Spectre AT and go with the classic AT.

I've decided on the Spectre AT. My local Omega Boutique had 4 of them in stock too. So if anyone is looking for them, Pittsburgh is the place to get one

Unless blue is your favourite colour and an absolute deal breaker, I would avoid it. I personally think a black or white dial would suit better and if this is a forever watch as you put it, would serve you better in the long run. Don't buy blue for 1 day only, nobody will even comment or expect your watch colour to match your suit, so get something that will suit for a lifetime. Whilst I haven't seen one yet, the Globemaster looks amazing, would sit better with a suit and having the Constellation pedigree, is definitely a forever watch. I recently bought the 300 Spectre as my lifetime/special watch which I adore, but my 59 Constellation is the watch I admire and respect the most.

Hello everyone,
I'm looking at watches to wear for my wedding and I have narrowed it down to a few. The

SPECTRE AQUA TERRA 150 M OMEGA MASTER CO-AXIAL 41.5 MM
BLUE AQUA TERRA 150 M OMEGA MASTER CO-AXIAL 41.5 MM
ROLEX MILGUASS
ROLEX SUBMARINER

I'm definitely wanting a blue faced watch, but I can't figure out which one I want for my forever piece. It is a small thing, but I know that all Rolex hands and hour markers are 18k white gold, which helps me understand their value. But I cannot find anything on what Omega's hands and hour markers are made of. Is there anything else I should be looking at?
Thank!

I would also look at the globemaster. Perhaps the white face one with the leather strap. I know that is the one I prefer however the blue faced version as posted above also looks good.. it seems to work better with bracelet.
I had a chance to handle both and they look very nice in the flesh!

All the watches you posted are very nice so you can't go wrong.. The sub is obviously classic but you will have to get the standard SS version (black faced) as the while gold blue faced version is $$$$. The Milgauss is quite unique but also very heavy on the wrist. I personally don't like that. As others have said the AT is also very nice.

I have the blue faced SM300 Ti which I quite enjoy.

However this is for a wedding and I think the Globemaster is the best bet for such an occasion.

I got married in an SMPO 45.5mm but I was 2.5 feet from the ocean in a suit. Get what you want to wear forever, don't sweat it if it doesn't go with a tuxedo!

Thanks everyone. For everyone suggesting the globe master, I don't like the bezel nor the location of the date (and the one without the date is 41k...). Blue is, and always has been, my favorite color which is why I am so adamant on a blue dial. I like the SM300 titanium, but that one is out of the budget for us at this point. We're getting married in Disney World so I'm trying to keep the watch under 8k USD.

Here's an idea out of left field: Ulysse Nardin makes a striking blue dial.

AT all the way from the watches you listed. That is if you insists on having a blue dial. If not I would probably go with Sub.
