Looking for more info on this 1959 Seamaster

Hello all,

Does anyone have more information on the below Ref 2990.1? I thought that this ref was only for Rancheros, but this appears to be a pure Seamaster. I haven't been able to find much online WRT the history of this specific variation. Could this be a redial?

This is a legitimate variant. Sometimes called a “Seachero”. The Ranchero was only sold in certain markets, for language reasons.
